On the other hand the talk about locals complaining about the noise levels isn't new, however when i visited the circuit to watch the F1 race in 2007 I couldn't hear a single engine in either Spa or Francorchamps. The only noise came from the loads of sportscars cruising the small town. Being a wealty region, locals don't really need the F1 circus to survive (unlike other regions), but still it would be a blow for local economy. Well I guess so.
